Thursday Night Football between the Packers and Lions proved to be one of the best matchups of the season. The two NFC North rivals fought until the very end, coming down to a Jake Bates game winning field goal.

Josh Jacobs - RB - Green Bay Packers

The first year Packer, Josh Jacobs, has really emerged as a top tier running back option for fantasy managers over the past few weeks, tallying over 20.2 PPR fantasy points 6/7 weeks. He has averaged 22.4 PPR points per game over this stretch, continuing his strong production on Thursday against the Lions, totaling 24.6 points. Jacobs was able to find the endzone on three separate occasions and rush for 66 yards on 18 carries. Although Jacobs was not targeted though the air on Thursday, his role in the Packers passing attack has grow since the beginning of the year.

Jacobs continues to impress for fantasy managers when it matters most. Moving forward, Jacobs can be viewed as a mid-tier RB1, providing solid fantasy performances regardless of the defensive matchup.
